...AREAS OF DENSE FOG...

Areas of dense fog, with visibility as low as a quarter mile at
times, will expand across southeastern Rhode Island and
Massachusetts through roughly midnight and then gradually push
out to sea towards daybreak, eroding from the west.

Anyone out driving should be ready for rapid fluctuations in
visibility. Use low beam headlights or fog lamps when encountering
fog, and allow extra braking distance between other motorists.
