NWS: Dense Fog Clearing to a Sunny Afternoon

Use caution in this morning's dense fog...

From the National Weather Service:

Dense fog across the southeast New England coast will burn off by mid morning. Otherwise, expect a nice day for most locations with at least partial sunshine and highs mainly in the upper 70s to the lower 80s. Clouds will increase this afternoon across western MA/northern CT with even a few showers possible west of the CT River Valley, but a washout is not expected.

Areas of dense fog before 11am. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 68. Light south wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Tonight
Areas of fog after 1am. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 56. South wind around 6 mph.
Friday
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 7am and noon. Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 73. South wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Friday Night
A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, with a low around 60. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, with a high near 72. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
