Sandwich Man Graduates from Air National Guard Basic Training

2012 graduate of Sandwich High School...

U.S. Air Force National Guard Airman 1st Class Timothy C. Cox graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Cox earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Jeffrey T. Cox of Sandwich, Mass., and grandson of Caroline Grinnel of East Falmouth, Mass., and Thomas F. Cox of Sandwich, Mass.

The airman is a 2012 graduate of Sandwich High School, East Sandwich, Mass. He earned an associate degree in 2017 from Cape Cod Community College, Barnstable, Mass.
