Josh Zakim Kicks Off Campaign for Secretary of State

BOSTON—Building on the momentum from a decisive win at the Massachusetts Democratic Convention in Worcester last weekend, Secretary of State candidate Josh Zakim will kick off a statewide tour next week. He will be meeting with voters across the Commonwealth from the North Shore to Cape Cod and communities in between, with more locations to be added later in the month.

“We’re going to keep moving this campaign forward, talking about same-day voter registration. automatic registration and increasing access to government for people across Massachusetts,” Zakim said. “We’re going to be hosting meet and greets, voter registration pop-ups and small business tours. In every area I will be out and eager to speak with and listen to people about how I can more effectively manage the Secretary of State’s office. I look forward to having these conversations across the Commonwealth.”

Zakim launched this tour on Sunday (June 10) and it continues throughout the month.
