Barnstable DPW to Paint Lines on Town Roads at Night

June 12th to June 22nd, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

From the Barnstable DPW:

The Town of Barnstable Highway Division will be re-painting the white edge lines and yellow center lines on all Town main roads that have existing yellow and white lines.  Work will take place Tuesday, June 12, 2018 through Friday June 22, 2018.   The work is expected to be done during the evening hours from 10:00 PM through 5:00 AM, weather permitting.  The public is encouraged to seek alternate routes to stay off the freshly painted lines. The newly painted lines take approximately 15 minutes to dry.

As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road work areas and follow posted safety signs.
