Support Cape Cod's Animal Shelters!  Paw Palooza Helpers Needed

Paw Palooza is looking for volunteers.  Join the Agway team in this momentous weekend extravaganza! Volunteers receive:

  • A SWEET tie-dye Palooza Patrol t-shirt
  • Lunch provided by Papa Ginos or D’Angelos (and ample snacks)
  • A $10 Agway gift card

Volunteer assignments will vary, but may include event setup, breakdown, vendor load-in, filling dog water bowls, keeping the grounds tidy, assisting at the Doggie U tent, selling bottled water, passing out programs, monitoring certain activities, parking monitor, assisting vendor/sponsors, etc. Assignments will be emailed 1 to 3 days prior to the event. 

Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to be on their feet throughout their shift. This is a rain-or-shine outdoor event, taking place on the softball fields at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

Setup & Breakdown


Need 8 to 15 Strong/energetic people to help with setup and breakdown.

2-Hour Shifts




Friday 7/13:  12-2, 2-4, 4-6

Sunday 7/15: 3:30-5:30, 5-7

Event help: 
Activity Assistance


Should be outgoing and friendly, requires interaction with attendees. Also must love dogs!

5-Hour Shifts



Saturday 7/14: 7am-12pm, 8:30am-1:30pm, 10am-3pm, 12pm-5pm, 1:30pm-6:30pm

Sunday 7/15: 8:30am-1:30pm, 10am-3pm, 12pm-5pm 

This is a non-profit event; it can be considered community service. Bring your service form to the event and ask for a planning committee member to sign off.
