Yarmouth Police Invite Public's Assistance with Peer Support Bill

Asking citizens to contact the Rep who is apparently blocking the bill...

From the Yarmouth Police Department (verbatim):

We have a Peer Support Bill that costs nothing to our Taxpayers and is designed to keep our Police Officers and their Families in Massachusetts healthier and safer.
Representative Speliotis has apparently blocked the bill from passing for over two years.
The bill has been held up in the committee for years. Representative Ted Speliotis said he is opposed to the bill over concerns of secrecy.
Speliotis argues that police chief’s may need to know details of a crime scene that may be undisclosed for the sake of confidentiality.
Chief Frederickson and Deputy Chief Xiarhos; as well as Police Leaders from across the Commonwealth strongly support our Police Officers and their Families and this important bill.
Could you please reach out and let him know how YOU feel?
