From the Scott Lively for Governor Campaign:

The Scott Lively for Governor campaign, which received nearly 1/3 of the delegate vote at the Republican Convention in April, announces the addition of campaign management firm, Election Day Strategies, this week in preparation for the September 4th primary against sitting Governor, Charlie Baker.

"Our team is very pleased with the experience that they bring to the table. We are in for a big fight against a corrupt administration and an even more corrupt Republican party structure that has done everything possible to exclude us from events and the data necessary to compete." said Lively.

Because the date of the Republican primary falls the day after Labor Day, it actually helps the Lively campaign, because it will be a very low turnout based on whichever team is able to get out the vote.

When asked about his reasons for running against Baker, Lively stated "Baker first ran as a conservative Republican and as we have seen, he has completely failed his Republican base by pandering more and more to the left and special interest groups. The fact is, there are 4.5 million voters in Massachusetts, but only 1.4 million are registered Democrats, which means that a solid 2/3rds of voters have soundly rejected what the Democrat Party stands for - and with their anti-American platform that puts illegal aliens and criminals ahead of legal law abiding citizens, the elderly and our vets, who could blame them for rejecting that?".

Governor Baker has been embroiled in numerous controversies such as the lack of transparency regarding his son's alleged sexual assault incident, his signing of the gun control bill, the passing the new $800,000,000 payroll tax which removes the right for hard working folks to get premium pay on Sundays and he took the sales tax reduction off the table. Baker has also supported Planned Parenthood with our hard earned tax dollars, and has failed to clean up a corrupt government that is costing taxpayers billions of dollars.

"Voters all over the country are rejecting establishment career politicians and trying something new. There has never been a better time for a real conservative to challenge the Governor's seat than this year." said Scott Lively "I encourage everyone to visit our new website at www.VoteLively.com to get on board in any way they can. We only have two months left."
