Wareham Man Faces Drunk Driving Charge

Wareham Police arrested 63-year-old Michael Levett, of Wareham, Tuesday afternoon after he was spotted driving erratically on Main Street at approximately 2:25 p.m.

Officer Matthew Donovan stopped Levett and arrested him following an investigation. Levett was taken to the Wareham Police Department and was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. 

The Wareham Police Department notes that they vigorously enforce drunk driving laws and runs a zero tolerance policy for those driving while impaired.
