From the Provincetown Police:

A Grand Day!

Thursday afternoon the men and women of your police department marked the 5th Annual Senior Luncheon, by holding a summer cookout in cooperation with the Provincetown Council on Aging and Seashore Point Nursing and Care Campus.

A healthy serving of hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken and potato salad were dished up to all seniors attending.

Department members rotated through their duties and took turns handling all of the cooking, table service and clean-up necessary.

This event brought out approximately 90 senior citizens in for the barbeque, and each had the opportunity to interact with and enjoy the pleasure of each other’s company.

Members present included Paige Perry, Kevan Spoor, Aaron Kacergis, Lisa Cook, Glenn Enos, Jen Nolette, Emmett Catanese, Kas-Wayne Samuels, RuthAnne Cowing, Jefferson Willis, Simon Saliba, Jason Sullivan, Tyler Johnson and Greg Hennick.

Started in 2014, this important occasion gives your police staff greater opportunity to interact with members of our community.
