For the first time in decades, no calves were recorded this spring after a sharp spike in accidental deaths from ship strikes and fishing gear entanglements in 2017.

Fewer than 450 of these magnificent creatures now remain.

Come hear Dr. Charles "Stormy" Mayo discuss steps being taken at the Center For Coastal Studies, Provincetown to reverse what scientists now fear is possible extinction. A tour of our new Spinnaker Whale Skeleton Exhibit is included. Light refreshments will be served.
