Hand-painted rocks with inspirational messages will be on view in CCMoA’s Sculpture Garden.  Thanks to The Kindness Rocks founder Megan Murphy, her Rock Stars from around the world are sending us their specially made rocks because the right message at the right moment can change your outlook, day or life!

At the FREE FUN FRIDAY Family Festival at the Museum on August 3, Murphy will be on hand to help visitors make their own Kindness Rock from 1 – 3 pm.  Everyone can take home a rock that speaks to them, or make their own to give to a friend or leave for a stranger.   Free Fun Friday runs from 10 am – 3 pm.  Festivities include kite-flying, drumming, portraits by Sarah Holl, Celtic Music, Face painting with Girl Scouts and a Pitter Patter Puppet Play at 11:30 am.
