Chatham Chorale to Perform in Orleans

August 5th at Church of the Holy Spirit

On Sunday, August 5th, from 3 PM to 5 PM, at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans, the Chatham Chorale, under the direction of Joseph Marchio,  will sponsor a Summer Sing featuring  Carmina Burana by Carl Orff .  The opening chorus of this iconic work, "O Fortuna", is familiar to just about everyone from movies and television commercials.  We will be singing this, and the other choruses of course, with no rehearsal required.  This is the definition of a Sing.. just come and have a good time. Whatever part you want to sing is fine.  We will have scores for you to borrow or you can bring your own if you have one.  If you just want to listen that's fine too.  It's all good.

As this is a fundraiser for the Chatham Chorale,  the charge for everyone, whether you bring your own score or use one of ours, is $10 (or more if you can).  We hope you will tell your family and friends to come too... to sing or to listen.  They deserve the fun of singing or hearing this absolutely wild and wonderful music!  Visiting tourists are especially welcome.  Everyone will be surprised how much of this music they actually know.

We look forward seeing you all on August 5th.  Reservations are not required but for further information please go to www.chathamchorale.org, or call 774 212-9333.
