Join Twelfth generation Cape Codder, Todd Morgan Kelley and Wampanoag/Nipmuc, Marcus Hendricks.

for a poignant discussion about the people of Cape Cod and the American Dream of Liberty. This “sense of liberty” was not a new concept to the American continent but was the essence and underpinning of culture across the land. Held in the land itself from a thousand generations of cultural belonging. The first settlers that put down roots on Cape Cod learned directly from first-hand interaction with the First People of the Narrow Land. We will consider the social pressures between indigenous land practices and colonial economy leading up to the American Revolution. Celebrate an unbroken oral lineage through the perspective of two native sons. One being Wampanoag and Nipmuc and the other being Irish and Welch.
