Among the Monday evening 5:30 P.M. walks scheduled by Pilgrim’s Landing on the outdoor 11 circuit labyrinth, two Veriditas-certified labyrinth facilitators from Labyrinth Quests, both Friends of the Chatham Labyrinth, present two customized programs. They offer musical selections and decorative features to enhance a meditative experience.
On August 6, Dr. Margaret Rappaport’s theme is Mindfulness. She suggests ways of quieting the mind to enable the experience of “interiority” and promote clarity and ease in the dynamic yet soothing environment of the labyrinth.
On August 13, Darlene T. Hagon’s theme is The Healing Process – Lessons Learned and the Labyrinth as a Path of Healing. She puts forward a positive perspective on the challenges any of us may encounter in living.
All are welcome to walk the labyrinth with us or to observe and listen. The gathering is usually thirty to forty minutes depending on the size of the group. Time for questions and comments usually follows these weekly walks.
