DA: Campbell-Halley Indicted on Multiple Counts, Including Rape of Child

Stony Brook teacher's case moves to Superior Court...

A Barnstable County Grand Jury has indicted Stony Brook Elementary School Noah Campbell-Halley on multiple counts of crimes against children.

According to a Grand Jury return recorded on Friday, August 3rd, the technology teacher was indicted on the following charges:

  • Five counts of aggravated rape of a child
  • Eight counts of aggravated indecent assault and battery
  • One count of assault and battery on a child
  • Two counts of intimidation of a witness

Campbell-Halley's case will now move to Barnstable County Superior Court.

The defendant is still on bail from the original charges that were filed in Orleans District Court.  He was freed in April on $10,000 cash bail and is required to wear a GPS monitor.  Campbell-Halley, his wife and young son are reportedly staying with his parents in Winchendon.

The charges on the indictment reflect an increase in the number of counts.  When Campbell-Halley was originally charged in district court, he faced two counts of rape of a child, three counts of indecent assault and battery and one count of intimidation of a witness.

No further information has been released by the District Attorney's office at this time.
