The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northern Barnstable County in southeastern Massachusetts...

* Until 945 AM EDT.

* At 858 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line over
Cape Cod Bay, moving east at 25 mph. Damaging winds are expected
on the outer Cape, especially between Wellfleet and Provincetown.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
Barnstable, Brewster, Provincetown, Dennis, Orleans, Eastham,
Wellfleet and Truro.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
