Orleans Firefighters Respond to Grill-Too-Close-To-House Call

Fast response prevented more extensive damage...

A fast response by Orleans Fire-Rescue's Engine 175 and Tower 176 (Group C) prevented greater damage from a grill fire close to a home off Tonset Road Monday afternoon.

This is a timely reminder not to use a grill near the side of your home.  The Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends grills be located at least ten feet away from a structure.
