FALMOUTH—Falmouth Museums on the Green will host its 49th Annual Antique Show & Sale on Saturday, August 25, on its campus at 55 and 65 Palmer Avenue in Falmouth.
“This is one of the Museums’ most popular events,” said Executive Director Mark Schmidt. “It’s also one of our biggest fundraisers. Proceeds from sales directly benefit our educational programs for children and adults throughout the year.”
The show is promoted by John & Elizabeth DeSimone of Goosefare Antiques & Promotions of Saco, Maine. It includes several dealers from on and off-Cape and features an array of antiques and collectibles, including country Americana, American Furniture of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, antique and estate jewelry, antique china, textiles, decoys, paintings, silver, early glass, Orientalia, antiquarian books, decorative accessories, and more.
Show hours are from 10:00 am-4:00 pm—rain or shine. Adult admission is $6. Children are admitted free; they must be accompanied by an adult. Early bird admission starts at 9:00 am; early admission is $15. Lunch and snacks are available.
