A Harwich man is in custody, charged in a Hyannis double stabbing overnight.  James Metellus, age 20, of Harwich faces two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Police were called to 27 Yarmouth Road at 1:23 a.m. with reports of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, officers found a man and woman suffering various stab wounds, puncture wounds and lacerations.  Both victims were taken to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
