Brewster Fire Department to Host 9/11 Memorial Service

The Brewster Fire Department will be hosting our annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony at Fire Headquarters on Tuesday September 11 at 6:00 pm. The service will be held outside of the new fire department facility at 1671 Main Street.

The service is designed to honor first responders, and civilian victims and their family members who were impacted by the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001 in New York City, Washington D.C, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Pastor Rodney Dobbs of the Northside United Methodist Church will offer the memorial invocation. Retired U.S Navy Captain and current Brewster Select Board member Dr. Mary Chaffee will be the event’s keynote speaker.

Other participants will include the Brewster Police Department, Brewster Town officials, local Scout groups, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and other regional emergency service organizations. Musical performances will be provided by the Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church Choir.

From the Brewster Fire Department:

Please help us in honoring these American heroes by attending our annual memorial service.

WE PROMISE TO REMEMBER THE 11th OF SEPTEMBER
