High heat index off Cape, showers move in late today...

From the National Weather Service:

The heat goes on, with temperatures reaching the low to mid 90s and dew points in the low 70s. This means the Heat Index will climb as high as 103 degrees in spots.

A Heat Advisory is in effect from 11 AM to 7 PM in all areas except the Berkshire East Slopes and the Cape/Islands.

Wear light-weight and light-colored clothing today. Drink plenty of water, non-alcoholic and decaffeinated fluids.

A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Southwest wind 11 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tonight
A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Patchy fog before 2am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. West wind 8 to 10 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
