Coalition for Children Announces Free Classes and Family Events

Serving Falmouth, Mashpee and Woods Hole...

The Coalition for Children has just released its Fall schedule of free classes and events! The line-up includes weekly play & learn groups in Falmouth, Woods Hole, and Mashpee designed to promote literacy skills and motor development in babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. New this year is Little Language Learners a weekly group at the Woods Hole Public Library featuring songs, stories, and games for 2 to 5 year olds who are learning English as an additional language. 

Monthly events include International Connections where families meet to explore the songs, stories, and food of a new country every month and Saturday STEM with hands-on learning in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. 

Early Childhood expert Dr. Sally Elam will be our guest the first week of October to teach parents Fun Baby Learning Games at the Falmouth Library’s popular Lapbabies class, as well as, at Falmouth’s Eight Cousins Bookstore.
