No Injuries in Serious House Fire in Wareham

From the Wareham Fire Department:

In the early morning hours of Wednesday September 12th, Group 2 received a call for a possible house fire at 8 Terry Lane West. Wareham E1 (duty crew) was dispatched to the scene and other call personnel were toned to respond.

Wareham Police were the first to arrive on scene and reported that they were standing by on scene with the property owner and their 2 dogs who had exited the structure unharmed.

Upon E1’s arrival, a working fire assignment was struck. Wareham R1 & Wareham L1 were requested to the scene. Wareham E4 was brought to Station 1 for coverage & Onset E2 was sent to our Station-1 for coverage. Assistant Chief Kelley (C3) responded as well as Lt. Smith (C4) to the scene & Eversource was contacted to respond.

On scene, Command reported companies were working the scene. R1 was the second engine in & the company checked the inside of the home. They found no extension into the main portion of the house. The fire was knocked down quickly and all companies on scene were committed.

After the scene was picked up, R1 remained on scene as a fire watch until approximately 0445. At that point, all apparatus were cleared back to quarters and the scene was then handed back over to the owner.
