The Autumnal Equinox marks the end of summer and the beginning of fall. What better way to start autumn off right than with craft beer at Heritage Museums & Gardens!

The Hoppy Fall Festival will feature an afternoon of craft beer tastings from 12 of the best local and hyper-local breweries. Visitors can enjoy their favorite brews and discover new ones as they expand their knowledge with a craft beer talk and home brewing demonstration.

Outside the tasting tent, visitors and their families can listen to live music from The Oysters Duo, enjoy food from area food trucks, create a fun fall craft, play lawn games - such as cornhole and giant checkers - all while relaxing in an autumn biergarten at the largest public garden in southern New England!

Tickets are $40 for non-members and $35 for members. This includes admission to all gardens and museum exhibits, beer tastings, a reusable souvenir tasting cup, live music, home brewing demos and talks, and access to food trucks and games.  Featured breweries include 6A Brewing Co., Barnstable Brewing, Cape Cod Beer Co., Castle Island Brewing Co., Cisco Brewers, Devil’s Purse Brewing Co., Hog Island Beer Co., Independent Fermentations Brewing, Mayflower Brewing Co., Naukabout Beer Co., Untold Brewing, and Shoal Hope Ciderworks.  Food is available for purchase from local area food trucks: Cape Cod Donuts, Pineapple Express Catering, The Local Scoop, Trolley Dogs, Wolf Pizza.

The Hoppy Fall Festival will take place September 22 from 12pm-5pm (last pour is at 4:30pm). Tastings happen rain or shine at the beer tent on the Parade Field. Visitors must be 21 years or older to participate in the beer tasting, and a valid ID is required.

Heritage is open through October 8, 10 am-5 pm daily. Heritage is grateful to Hoppy Fall Festival event sponsor WBUR. For information and tickets, go to HeritageMuseums.org or call 508-888-3300.
