Job #1 – Reference Librarian – Upper Cape

Full Time: Performs reference and readers’ advisory services to the public in person, by telephone, email, and through online reference services; may participate in decisions regarding the acquisition of library materials; writes and implements grants; attends workshops and professional meetings.

Plans and conducts library programs. Creates library displays. Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and two years of professional reference experience required. Through knowledge of automated library systems, management of library operations, and reference sources and adult literature titles and authors. Salary range $24.15 to $30.56 per hour with full benefits.

Job #2 – Conference Planner – Lower Cape

Full Time: Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating every detail of conferences. Consult with corporate clients to determine objectives and requirements for events and ensure events meet goals and run smoothly. Monitor event activities, review additional services and products for upsell opportunities, and maintain records of event aspects, including financial details. Review event bills for accuracy, and approve payment. Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience in event planning and be flexible with schedule and able to work weekends as needed.
