Road Construction Notice - Route 28 Near Bearse's Way

Next phase runs 9/20/18 to 9/21/18

From the Barnstable DPW:

ROAD WORK - RTE 28 (Falmouth Road) NEAR BEARSE’S WAY

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (Mass DOT) continues their roadway improvements for the ‘Rte. 28 Intersection Improvements at Bearse’s Way’ as scheduled. The next phase of work will begin this Thursday, September 20, 2018 and end Friday, September 21, 2018.

During these two days noted above, traffic will be detoured at times for vehicles traveling both northbound and southbound on Bearse’s Way near Route 28 and westbound and eastbound on Route 28 near Bearse’s Way. Traffic during construction operations will be delayed and motorists are strongly advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the construction work.

The work hours will be between the hours of 6:00AM and 5:30 PM.

As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas and detour routes and follow posted safety and detour signs.
