From the Wareham Police Department:

Wareham police officers arrested two Taunton men on Wednesday, Sept. 19th after receiving multiple tips about a house where illegal drug sales were suspected of taking place.

The address of the house as well as the identity of the investigating detective were not released by police.

Police report that a search of the two suspects found them to be in possession of a large amount of cash and an illegal amount of marijuana.

Keven Andrade, age 21, and Ryan Rocha, age 24, both of Taunton, face charges in Wareham District Court for possession with the intent to distribute a class "D" drug.

According to the police, the detective was conducting surveillance on the house in question when he observed Andrade and Rocha engaging in activity consistent with drug dealing. The detective reportedly followed the two men in their car after leaving the property, initiating a motor vehicle stop around 11:30 a.m. on Cranberry Highway.

Upon a search of the car the two Taunton men were placed under arrest after an illegal amount of marijuana, a digital scale and $1,353 in cash were found.

Assisting the detective in the arrest were Acting Sergeant Kevin Reilly, Officer John Iacobucci and Acting Chief John Walcek. The suspects' car was stopped conveniently close to the police station.
