Wareham DNR Nabs Illegal Trash Dumper

"We have cameras and eyes everywhere"
The person who dumped this trash illegally near Wareham's Agawam Mill Pond Boat Ramp was caught by Wareham DNR. We know about the cameras but also wonder about that Amazon box with the address label still affixed. (WDNR photo)

From the Wareham Department of Natural Resources:

Another person illegally disposing of their debris in our Town. This time at the Agawam Mill Pond Boat Ramp. Note the blue barrel- it is there for fisherman to dispose of their trash instead of tossing it on the ground. The blue barrel is unrelated to the incident.

The debris dumped was a loveseat (not pictured) the black trash bag filled with old clothes, the blue and green blow up pool and the amazon box.

Now for the good news....

The person responsible for this mess has been LOCATED, and now faces a hefty fine pursuant to Mass General Law Chapter 270 Section 16.

Remember, we have cameras and eyes EVERYWHERE so if you’re going to illegally dump - make sure to smile for the camera
