Letter to the Editor:
I am voting for John Flores, State Senator for Cape Cod and the Islands. John is more than qualified to represent the common sense, real life experience, bi-partisan view we need on Beacon Hill.
John has extensive public service experience and has worked within state agencies and has a thorough working knowledge on the issues most important to all of us.
He has also run his own businesses, with an understanding about the issues that face the heart of Cape and Island business owners..
John is bringing up issues on Cyr's record that need to be addressed; voting himself/other legislators an $18 million pay raise, his first weeks in office, embellishing the monies he has secured for Cape and Islands - bond monies/bills are a wish list , that's all. With all the money we send to the state - room, meal, lottery, etc. to have only brought in $1.5 million in the last 2 years, says that he doesn't have the ability to get what we rightfully deserve on Cape Cod to help us with addressing affordable housing, infrastructure, opioid crisis, schools, wastewater, etc.
We need someone who will work to get us money, not spend more of our money.
