November 1st and November 2nd...

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) continues their roadway improvements for the ‘Rte 28 Intersection Improvements at Bearse’s Way’ as scheduled. The next detour of traffic will be November 1st and November 2nd all day.

On Thursday, November 1, 2018 and Friday, November 2, 2018, the westbound lane of Route 28 will be detoured again at the intersection of Route 28 and Bearse’s Way.  Traffic will be directed north on Bearse’s Way, then directed southeast down Pitcher’s Way. The end of the detour will occur as traffic migrates back to Route 28. Traffic to local businesses will be allowed access.

Traffic during construction operations will be delayed and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the construction work.

As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the road construction areas and detour routes and follow posted safety and detour signs.
