WE CAN's Family Law Overview Workshop

WE CAN, the organization dedicated to empowering Cape Cod women to achieve lasting positive change for themselves and their families, today announced an upcoming session of WE CAN’s Family Law Overview: “Everything Women Want to Know About Family Law But Are Afraid to Ask.” Monday, November 12, 2018 at Barnstable Municipal Airport Conference Room.

Presented by Attorney Chantal Hayes Rice, this workshop will largely cover the divorce process and other areas of Family Law including:  the two ways to get divorced in MA and the key steps, paperwork, and forms needed; an overview of Division of Assets and Debts; and Alimony and Child support guidelines and custody.  

Supplemental materials including a glossary of terms and a legal resources sheet will be offered and time will be set aside for Q+A with attendees who are encouraged to come with a list of questions. Those seeking legal advice regarding any aspect of Family Law are strongly encouraged to attend this workshop prior to consulting an attorney or setting up a legal consult at WE CAN.
