Local Student at Lasell College Participates in Paris Men's Fashion Week

Another local student makes us proud...

Kellie Matthews, a Teaticket native, participated in a trip to Paris, France, this summer with Lasell College. Matthews majors in Fashion and Retail Merchandising and spent the two weeks in June learning about French culture and fashion.

The two-week immersion offered Matthews the chance to meet with local experts, visit museum exhibitions, and take classes with experts in headwear, luxury branding, flower pleating, and more. Matthews was also able to work backstage at a Walter Van Beirendonck runway show and dress a Rick Owens show during Men's Fashion Week.

Led by Associate Dean of the School of Fashion, Anne Trevenen, the trip offered Matthews and fellow students the opportunity to build their professional network and expand their knowledge and skills.

A full blog detailing the trip can be found at www.lasell.edu/Paris2018.
