Subaru vs. Front End Loader in Truro Tuesday Afternoon

From the Truro Police Department...

On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at approximately 11:21 AM, the Truro Police Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a Subaru and a front-end loader, in the area of #334 Route 6 and Fishermans Road.

Upon arrival, Officers observed a front-end loader on the right side of the southbound travel lane of Route 6. behind it was a 2012 Subaru that had overturned onto the right passenger side. (the subaru did not completelly roll over).

initial reports indicate that the Subaru collided into the left rear corner of the front-end loader, causing the Subaru to overturn on its side.

Both the driver of the Subaru and the driver of the front end loader are Truro residents.

Route 6 remained open during the investigation. Truro Fire and Rescue responded. The driver of the Subaru was evaluated on scene. No transport to Cape Cod Hospital.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the Truro Police Department
