Wareham Police Had An Active Weekend

From the Wareham Police Department:

The Wareham Police Department has made multiple arrests over the past several days.

  • Darryl Monteiro, 53, of no certain address was arrested on Friday, November 9, at about 4:00 p.m. by Officers Eric Machado and James White. Mr. Monteiro was arrested at Stop and Shop after trying to flee the store with over $500.00 worth of groceries before being stopped.

 

 

  • Keishon Patterson,18, of Wareham, was arrested on Saturday, November 10, at 6:45 a.m. by Officers Christopher Corner and Justin Silveira on Twelfth Street. Mr. Patterson had an active warrant for his arrest.

 

 

 

  • Melissa Iandoli, 27, of Plymouth, was arrested on Saturday at 4:15 p.m. by Officer Christopher Corner, on Indian Neck Road following a motor vehicle stop. Ms. Iandoli had an active warrant for her arrest.

 

 

 

 

 

  • Clayton Tubbs, 33, of Buzzards Bay, was arrested on Sunday at about 5:00 a.m. by Officers Robert McLain and Ryan Gomes on Cranberry Highway. Mr. Tubbs was taken into custody following an incident in which a vehicle’s windows were smashed out on Wren Terrace moments before the arrest. He is charged with vandalizing property.

 

 

 

 

  • Later on Sunday at about 8:15 p.m. a male juvenile stole a car in the parking lot of Cumberland Farms on Main Street. When the owner who was in the store, approached the suspect he started to drive away dragging the owner several feet. The stolen vehicle then fled down Main Street and officers followed the car attempting to stop it. The suspect jumped from the car after finally stopping in the area of Hathaway Street near the train tracks. After a brief foot chase he was apprehended by Officers James White and Michael Phinney. The juvenile is being charged with, larceny of a motor vehicle, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and receiving a stolen motor vehicle. The owner of the car was treated and released from Tobey Hospital.

 

  • At about 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, Teena Hill, 46, of no certain address, was arrested by Officer James White, on High Street for an active default warrant.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • On Monday, November 13, at about 8:15 a.m. a Wareham Police detective arrested Shawn Welch, 47, of Attleboro on Cranberry Highway following a motor vehicle stop. Mr. Welch was charged with operating after suspension of his license and had two active arrest warrants.
