Rehabilitated Fisher Released

Yarmouth DNR officers in coordination with Cape Wildlife Center released a rehabilitated fisher back into the wild. Fishers are unique and elusive mammals found here in Massachusetts. The Fisher is the second largest member of the weasel family found here in MA. Except during their brief mating season, fishers are solitary creatures and are active during night and day throughout the year.
