Cape Cod Co-Op Extension Chemical Safety, Climate Change Preparedness WOrkshop

December 12th at West Barnstable Community Building

Barnstable, MA - The Cape Cod Cooperative Extension is hosting the Chemical Safety and Climate Change Preparedness Workshop on Wednesday, December 12th from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the West Barnstable Community Building located at 2377 Meetinghouse Way in West Barnstable, MA.

This workshop is intended for businesses, municipalities, non-governmental organizations and any resident of Barnstable County who wants to learn more about how to address hazardous chemical vulnerabilities, increase climate change preparedness, and protect public safety.

Kalliope Chute, Hazardous Materials Environmental Specialist at the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension says, "Keeping chemicals safe and secure in fire, flood, or other emergencies is imperative to keeping our unconfined, sole source aquifer protected."
