Michael Olson of Harwich, Massachusetts, son of Terry and MaryJane Olson, was cast the Loud Stone in this year's Curry College's Black Box theatre production of Eurydice. Michael is a freshman Communication major. While new to Curry Theatre, Michael has been involved in many of his high school plays in which he played Rodrigo in Little Women, and Marius in Les Miserables. He is very interested in the group work that a theatre production entails. Off the stage, Michael enjoys creating films.

Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice is a quirky, modern, and touchingly poignant retelling of the classical myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Eurydice's journey to the underworld has a surprising outcome when she is reunited and reacquainted with her father, while Orpheus is left to desperately reverse the events that have unfolded before him. Curry Theatre's Black Box production runs Saturday, November 17 through Monday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton campus, which is located at 1071 Blue Hill Avenue. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved by calling 617-333-2227, and selecting option 3.
