The next monthly Senior Citizens Day at Christ Church Thrift Shoppe in Plymouth will take place Friday, Jan. 18. All items will be 50% off for shoppers of a certain age (60 or older).
Christ Church Thrift Shoppe carries an eclectic mix of gently used quality clothing for women, men and children, household goods, small furniture, accessories, artwork, jewelry and the kind of surprises that thrift-shoppers love to discover. Proceeds help support the ministries of Christ Church and the needs of the greater Plymouth community.
The Thrift Shoppe is open Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is located at 6 Lothrop St., in the circa-1841 Hall House, across the driveway from Christ Church at 149 Court St. Donations are always welcome when Christ Church Thrift Shoppe is open. Christ Church is an Episcopal church in the Diocese of Massachusetts. Founded in 1844, Christ Church Parish is open to all people for prayer, worship and celebration of the Christian faith through the promotion of justice, peace, healing and love.
Located at 149 Court St. in Plymouth, Christ Church offers an informal service with contemporary music on Saturdays at 5 p.m. On Sundays, Rite I is celebrated at 8 a.m. and Rite II with music is held at 10 a.m. Church school classes begin at 9:30 a.m. Rector is The Reverend David Fredrickson.
