Falmouth Traffic Stop Yields Heroin and Deadly Fentanyl

Traffic stop results in heroin and fentanyl arrest.

Friday evening an officer stopped a car for a traffic violation and witnessed the occupants hiding unknown objects. A search was conducted using a Barnstable County Sheriff's Office canine and narcotics were seized.

As a result, the 29-year-old female passenger was arrested for illegal possession of fentanyl, heroin and gabapentin. The operator was cited for the initial marked lanes violation.
