From the Wareham Police Department:

On Saturday, February 2, Wareham Police took a report of a break and entering at home on Onset Avenue. The home which was under construction had multiple items stolen. On Wednesday February 6, officers went back to the same location for yet another break with more items stolen. Wareham Police Detectives investigating the breaks had identified suspects in the case. At about 9:00 a.m. one of the suspects was spotted by detectives operating a vehicle on Cranberry Highway leading them to affect a motor vehicle stop. John Lyons, 43, of 67 Jefferson Shores Road, East Wareham, was placed under arrest for receiving stolen property over $1,200.

Detectives then secured from the court a search warrant, and later on Thursday executed that warrant at 67 Jefferson Shores Road. During the search they located several stolen items, including items stolen from a recent break and entering in Bourne. In addition, Robert Cardoza, 48, also a resident at that address was placed under arrest. He is being charged with two counts of receiving stolen property over $1,200.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
