"Celebrating the Ordinary" by Jane Hattemer-Stringer

February 16th at Osterville Village Library

OSTERVILLE MA: The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is pleased to announce the upcoming two 20 minute shows back to back titled “Celebrating the Ordinary” by Jane Hattemer-Stringer on February 16th. This is a one women solo show written and performed by Jane Hattemer-Stringer, who is a theater artist who has performed and directed in community theater a over the Cape for many years. She has enthralled all aspects of theater from puppetry, play writing, acting, and dancing; and now solo performance!

The shows are as follows: "In the Middle of the Middle:" The middle children of a big family are often overlooked. So they are free to create their own world. I was right smack in the middle of this world, a unique spot to grow up in. Our adventures together created a bond that lasts to this day.

"Muddie:" Cigarettes. Red lipstick. Elizabeth Taylor eyes. She was just your ordinary grandma -- or was she? Sitting at her kitchen table, my grandmother, Muddie, told me stories about her life with my grandfather and with her family.  No, this was no ordinary grandma.
