Newspaper Courier Crashes in North Dennis

SUV flips on side, traps two occupants...

From the Dennis Fire Department:

North Dennis, MA - A newspaper courier went off the road striking a fire hydrant, and then flipping on its side.

The Dennis fire and police departments responded to 123 New Boston Road at 05:08 this morning. Upon arrival first responders found a Toyota Rav4 with two occupants trapped inside.

The windshield of the vehicle had to be removed in order to extricate the victims. A male and a female were treated and transported to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life threating injuries.

The Dennis Water District was notified for the hydrant that was hit and leaking. Police are investigating the incident.
