From the National Weather Service:

Light snow develops from west to east through 8 pm. Heaviest snow occurs from 10 pm to 4 am, but ends by 7 am Thu in most locations, but may linger through 9 am on the eastern MA coast. Snow accums of 2-4", but a band of 3-6" possible near the MA turnpike. This includes the Worcester and Boston metro areas.
