We have two storms moving through our area this weekend. One moves through today, the second moves through during Sunday night and Monday morning.

The first map shows the forecast snow amounts for this morning. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of Southern New England for accumulations up to near 6 inches.

A second storm will rush in on the heels of the first storm, leaving several inches of snow Sunday night and Monday. The second map shows the forecast snow amounts for this second storm. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Sunday night storm.

Today
Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 3pm. High near 36. Breezy, with a north wind 18 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Tonight
A chance of snow, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. North wind 6 to 15 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Sunday
Partly sunny, with a high near 38. West wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable.
Sunday Night
Snow likely before 11pm, then rain and snow between 11pm and 2am, then rain after 2am. Low around 33. South wind 7 to 15 mph becoming east after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Monday
Rain, mainly before 9am. High near 41. Breezy, with a northeast wind 13 to 22 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Sunny, with a high near 32. West wind 11 to 13 mph.
