Yarmouth DNR Responds - Woman Injured in Woods

On 3/7/18 Yarmouth DNR responded and assisted Yarmouth Police and Fire with a woman who received a leg injury while hiking in the woods. The responding officer was able to help lead emergency medical personnel by vehicle to the location. Thanks to a team effort by all agencies the woman was located and successfully transported from the wooded area.

Yarmouth DNR officers are routinely requested to assist in searches and law enforcement activity in our woodlands. Officers knowledge of the many conservation areas and trails make them a valuable asset to the town in emergency situations.
