WHOI's "Peanut Butter Club" to Screen Two Videos

March 15th at Redfield Auditorium

PEANUT BUTTER CLUB: Presents the Rick Steves videos “South Ireland: Waterford to the Ring of Kerry & Belfast and the Best of Northern Ireland” on Friday, March 15, at noon, in Redfield Auditorium, 45 Water St., Woods Hole. In video one, join Rick as he finds the icons of Ireland strewn along its fascinating south coast: Waterford's much-loved crystal factory, the Kennedy family homestead, the Dunbrody Famine Ship, and Kinsale's star-shaped fortresses. After kissing the Blarney Stone, visit elegant Muckross House. Then savor the scenic charms of the Emerald Isle by driving the Ring of Kerry. In program two, tour bustling Belfast's City Hall and Ulster Museum, then head out to Northern Ireland's favorite resort: Portrush, along the Antrim Coast, where they will taste-test Irish whiskey, scramble over some six-sided geology in the Giant's Causeway, drop in on a world-class golf course, and stomp their feet to some traditional music. Sponsored by the WHOI Visitor Center. Coffee, tea, and cookies served. Donations accepted.
