From Bourne Firefighters IAFF #1717:

Great work done by Group 3 Led by Shift Commander Deputy Chief Joe Carrara and (Engine 6 )Plymouth FD at yesterday's cliff rescue. Thank you to all other Departments that assisted.

One particular member that should be acknowledged for his excellent work yesterday is Firefighter/ Paramedic Drew Girouard. On Friday Drew graduated from Massachusetts Fire Academy Career Recruit Class 271. Just about 24 hours out of graduation Drew was tasked to be lowered down to the unconscious patient utilizing his ropes training he just received in his Career Academy Training.
FF Girouard then began rendering Paramedic care and began packaging the patient along with other rescuers.

Great work by all Members and a swift recovery to the injured patient ! Thank You to Massachusetts Department of Fire Services Training Staff, well done !
