Osterville Village Library Announces Family Game Night Series

OSTERVILLE MA: The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is pleased to announce its upcoming Family Game Night series. The fun begins this month and continues through August. Join us Tuesdays 5-6:30pm in the Anne Williams McGraw Community Atrium on the following dates: On March 19, try your luck at Bingo;” April 16, explore “Art & Acting;” May 21, Consider it a wise investment with “Money Games” June 18, The theme is “Cards;” July 16, Try your hand at “Strategy;” August 1,3 All the “oldies but goodies” come into play with “Classic Games.” Fun for the whole family, lasting through the summer season. ###

Osterville Village library Announces Genealogy workshop Thursday, March 14th .

The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is pleased to announce the upcoming intermediate level genealogy workshop using Ancestry.com on Thursday, March 14th from 2:00–4:00pm. Uncover your family records through a hands on workshop. You’ll be lead step by step with instruction in how to best utilize Ancestry.com Laptops with Ancestry access provided through the OVL’s Online Resources. Basic computer skills required. Workshop is free but class size is limited, so sign up today! ###

Osterville Village Library Announces 3D Printing Introductory Program Thursday, March 28th

The Osterville Village Library (OVL) is pleased to announce an “Introduction to 3D Printing.” Join us for a presentation about the history of 3D printing, its future applications and a hands on demonstration. You’ll be amazed to witness computer images brought to physical reality before your eyes in an instant. Our “Introduction to 3D Printing” program is part of the OVL’s developing Makerspace. Stop by and see where your local library is heading in the future.
