WORCESTER, MA - The Assumption Department of Athletics has announced that Max Francis, of West Barnstable, has earned a spot on the 2019 Assumption Men's Tennis team. Francis, Class of 2021, will compete during the Greyhounds' spring season.

"We are looking forward to the 2019 season after returning from our spring break trip with new experiences and confidence to build on," said Head Coach Brent Gruno, who is in his second year coaching the Assumption Men's Tennis team. "We are building on our season, and with the addition of four freshmen, expect to find success on the court in our upcoming conference matches, as well as in the classroom."

The Men's Tennis team, ranked eighth in the Northeast-10 Conference Preseason Poll, spent their spring break playing at the United States Tennis Association National Campus in Orlando, FL, in early March. The Hounds, who are returning all but one player, are preparing to compete at the highest level of NE-10 competition this season.
